Walter's Dedication
Walt Disney's accomplishments can be listed as easy as things on the shopping list. Disney created Mickey and other animated creatures, Disneyland which was the first theme park, the first full-length movie, and he formed the first multimedia corporation, among many others. But before all this success there were bumps on the road that he had to overcome.
Walter had many studios during his process of animation. No matter how many times he had failed he seemed to keep on pursuing his dreams. It started from the Laugh-O-Gram and grew into the Walt Disney Studios itself. Walter moved to Hollywood to pursue his dreams along with the help of his brother. They started their studio in their uncle's garage and went into Walt's studio.
When Walt had created Oswald he felt as if he had something really good. But the next year he lost Oswalds contract. Because his co-workers claimed that Oswald the Lucky Rabbit had been their idea. Soon after his dreams where crushed Disney returned to the drawing board and to square one. Walt kept on drawing and drawing no matter what it took. Then Walt drew something no one had before, a mouse. A mouse named Mickey was unusual to some and many thought this wasn't the best idea. Soon enough everyone adored this mouse. It soon grew into the biggest cartoon out there.
During this process it wasn't easy. Many struggles put a set back on his dreams of moving forward. He would continue moving forward and making this a different world for children and their families. When Walt had finally decided Mickey was the center of it all he expanded from there. Mickey soon had friends and then Mickey had other disney "family". Walt began to create full feature movies that would sky rocket.

Walter's Motivation
When Walter moved to Hollywood, he knew he had wanted to be a big animator. He hadn't just moved there to do nothing with his life. He had planned to create something bigger than anyone had seen before. He wanted to continue and please children who wanted nothing but to have a cartoon to love. Walt having children himself felt if he could make a safe place for kids to look up to he might be doing something good. He wanted for children to feel free to have a friend like Mickey Mouse. He also wanted to teach children good lessons but in a way that they could understand.
When Walt had created Mickey Mouse many people were unsure of his plan, but he knew if he kept pursuing his vision something good would come out of it. Then out of nowhere Mickey Mouse in Steamboat Willie became a success. After Steamboat Willie was released Walt knew he could branch out and create other things that would change people's life's. Walt knew once he started this he couldn't stop. Children were so drawn to his cartoons. Walt had bigger dreams and he wasn't going to stop. Many people were going to see his features as a pass time. The culture of all if this was going to expand larger than anyone was expecting.
Walt had dreams of a theme parks for families to go and to be together. Walt had visioned all of this and wasn't going to stop unless he had a reason to. Walt opened Disney Land in California and it was a major success. Shortly after the park had opened, Walt did not like how all these hotels and other business had opened around this park. Walt was planning to buy some land in Florida to open an idea he had of EPCOT. It was his vision of what the future might look like. Sadly, Walt had passed away before he could open up the second park. That did not stop his team of imaginers as they proceed the process. When the second park opened people flocked to the park as a moth to a light. Families felt like they're kids were going to be safe and have fun together. Today, many families go and have this place of fantasy. If Walt had never invisioned a mouse in the first place where would families go today and enjoy themselves. If Walt would've stopped after Oswald no one would understand how Walt planned the future. Luckily Walt knew his dreams would change the world.
